1 cup salt 1/2 cup cornstarch 3/4 cup water Food coloring (if desired)

Mix salt, cornstarch, and water together. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat and place on aluminum foil to cool. Knead thoroughly. If not using immediately, store in an airtight container. Dough can be softened by kneading again before use.
