Ice Box Cookies

Steps

1. Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs, water, flour, vanilla, soda mix, and nuts. Shape into round or rectangular rolls/bricks. It helps to shape them by wrapping in waxed paper and pressing into shape. Wrap tightly and chill. For better flavor, freeze overnight. Slice approximately 1/4 inch thick and bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
